CHALLENGE

Create a brand identity that captures the cafè’s unique location — modern in spirit, yet respectful of the historic charm of the Jardin du Palais-Royal.

LOGOTYPE

To highlight the cafè’s unique location in the Jardin du Palais-Royal , the logotype is a custom illustration inspired the flowers and trees that are symbolic of the garden — magnolia and linden.

Hand-drawn Illustration

Several visual proposals for the brand concept and territory were presented. Among them, the one inspired by the garden’s plants was selected — featuring a logo designed as a custom illustration of the flowers and trees of the Jardin du Palais-Royal.

Hand-drawn to reflect the café’s unique location, the logo is a composition of magnolia and linden leaves and flowers — two plants that are symbolic of the garden.

BRAND IDENTITY

To further highlight the heritage of the place and make the brand more distinctive, an original 18th-century print of the Jardin du Palais-Royal was also used as a complementary visual reference for other brand materials.
